Keith Robinson is a Co-Executive Director at People’s Prep. Keith was the founding math teacher at People’s Prep and Council Coach to the Men of Florida of our founding Class of 2019. Keith has taught math and physics at People’s Prep and served as Dean of Culture and Assistant School Leader before becoming Co-Director. Keith was also a recipient of the 2013 Fishman Prize for Superlative Classroom Practice. As part of the Fishman Prize summer residency, he wrote and essay about fostering a growth mindset in students called, “Gettin’ Messi: How Mistakes Make Mathematicians.” Prior to joining the Wolfpack, Keith taught world history at Newark’s Rise Academy Charter School and mathematics at I.S.195 Roberto Clemente Middle School in Harlem. Keith holds a Bachelors and Masters of Accounting from the University of Florida, as well as a Master of Science in Teaching Secondary Math from Pace University and Master of Education Leadership from Relay Graduate School of Education. Keith is committed to supporting students and their families through the hard work necessary to be successful in applying to, attending, and graduating from college.
